This Privacy Policy explains how TradingHub Telugu ("we", "us") handles your information in the Vega mobile application ("the App"). Vega is a paper-trading (simulated) app for education and practice. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

In short: Vega is a simulated trading app. We collect the minimum needed to run it — your phone number for sign-in and, only if you choose, your own broker (Fyers) access token to show you live market data. We do not sell your data, and we never place real trades on your behalf.

1. Information we collect

Phone number — used to create your account and sign you in via a one-time password (OTP). Authentication is handled by Google Firebase.
Broker connection (optional) — if you choose to see live market data, you connect your own Fyers account. We store the resulting access credentials encrypted on our server, solely to fetch live prices, charts and option chains on your behalf, using your own account.
App data — your simulated (paper) trades, positions, journal, watchlist and settings. Most of this is stored locally on your device; your leaderboard statistics (a display name and realized paper-P&L) are stored on our server so the community leaderboard can work.
Basic technical data — standard logs (such as request times) needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account.
To display live market data from your connected broker account.
To run app features — charts, option chain, positions, journal, analytics, alerts and the community leaderboard.
To maintain, protect and improve the service.

3. How your broker credentials are protected

If you connect Fyers, your access token is stored encrypted at rest on our server and is used only to request market data for you. We do not use it to place real orders. Vega executes all trades as simulations inside the app — no real money or real orders are ever involved. Inactive broker connections are automatically removed after 10 days.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that make the App work:

Google Firebase — phone-number authentication. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Fyers — only when you connect your own account, to retrieve your market data.

We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Broker connections idle for more than 10 days are deleted automatically. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

6. Your choices & rights

You can use most of the App without connecting a broker.
You can disconnect your broker account at any time from within the App.
You can request access to, or deletion of, your data by emailing us.

7. Children

Vega is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Not financial advice

Vega is an educational, simulated trading app. Nothing in the App constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Trading real securities carries risk; consult a SEBI-registered advisor before trading real capital.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
